Stunning French Grey China Cabinet

This is probably the project I'm most proud of. It turned out so beautiful. I've never been so tempted to keep a piece of furniture before!

I painted this china cabinet in Light French Grey with a classic French Grey interior and shelves.

I added gorgeous appliques to the top, doors and bottom cupboards which I then painted a striking white, along with the ornate panels along the top and bottom of the cabinet.

The edges of the doors and drawers have been lightly distressed to give the piece a more timeworn and Country French feel. The hardware I picked out are all genuine antiques I found at a shabby chic flea market.

On the sides of the cabinet are panels, which gave me the perfect opportunity to use my Walnut Wax all over the inside for that lovely antique look.

Finally, I painted three coats of polyurethane gloss all over for permanent protection. This is a piece of furniture that you won't have to worry about the paint chipping or dulling over the years.
